The city lies on the Adriatic coast, in the heart of Apulia, and is literally one of a kind (whence its name, from the Greek monos – i.e. unique – and polis – i.e. city). Unique for the multiplicity of its historic quarters (referred to as contrade). It is precisely this peculiarity that gave rise to the names given to the rooms, which were chosen with the aim of establishing a link with our land.

Le Contrade was born from the desire to provide our guests with suitable accommodation while preserving our city’s tradition. We like to convey this idea in every detail, starting from our logo, full of references to graphic signs reminiscent of the cultures that over time contributed to shaping Monopoli’s unique identity.
